The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), held from 11 to 13 June in Brussels, is a premier annual event for clean energy launched in 2007 by the European Commission and organised by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), in close cooperation with Directorate-General for Energy.
It brings together public authorities, private companies, NGOs, EU project partners, researchers, and consumers to promote initiatives driving Europe’s energy transition through net-zero competitiveness.
This event comprises different initiatives aimed at building a secure and clean energy future for Europe. The activities range from the high-level Policy Conference, the EUSEW Awards (conferred to outstanding individuals and projects for their innovation and efforts in energy efficiency and renewables) to the fifth European Youth Energy Day. Also, it offers opportunities to forge connections with the EUSEW community at the Energy Fair.
The Mopo project partner Tars Verschelde, from KU Leuven, is attending the event and representing the project.
