The BRIDGE initiative aims to address common challenges and favour knowledge sharing among selected projects committed to achieving a resilient, decarbonised, and integrated energy system.
Mopo project, with its mission to develop a feature-rich energy system modelling toolset, has entered the BRIDGE initiative joining a network of more than 100 energy-related projects involved.
Mopo’s experts, members of the project Consortium, will actively participate in the BRIDGES’s working groups to share their expertise and knowledge. Working groups are expected to help foster innovation by creating a structured view of cross-cutting issues encountered in the demonstration projects so as to overcome potential obstacles and deliver conclusions and recommendations, with a single voice, about the future exploitation of projects’ results.
Due to its mission to develop a user-friendly and well-performing energy system modelling toolset to serve public authorities, network operators, industry and academia, Mopo will be able to join all the working group discussions organised by the BRIDGE initiative (Data management, Regulation, Business models, Consumers and citizens engagement).
Mopo’s participation in the BRIDGE initiative represents a new pillar in MOPO’s commitment to collaborating with relevant initiatives and projects, aiming to accelerate advancements towards the transition to a 100% sustainable and resilient energy system in Europe.
